Safaga is the ideal place for all those who want to learn, improve and enjoy kiteboarding, windsurfing or wingfoil. The spot in front of the ION CLUB Safaga center is very large, and the wonderful color of the water makes it an excellent place for water sports. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced kiter, you will enjoy the conditions here. In the morning the wind blows side-offshore and comes from the left side looking towards the sea, around noon it turns to side-shore and then it often becomes stronger, around 20-25 knots, sometimes a little more by the end of the day. A short neoprene or just lycra is enough, no neoprene boots are necessary. The sea is flat in the morning, a bit choppy in the afternoon, and the wind is constant. The kite spot is located in front of the ION CLUB center. In the ION CLUB center, you will receive your own locker for equipment storage, which is charged additionally on the spot. In the wardrobe you will be able to fit up to three kites, a trapeze, and of course a twin-tip board, as well as a foil board if you have one. Apart from the wardrobe, you will be able to freely use all other facilities of the center, such as showers and changing rooms. Lockers are also available outside the center, so you are not tied to the center's working hours. Weather conditions during the morning are excellent for a trip to the island of Tobia, a sandy island surrounded by turquoise sea less than 4 kilometers from the center of ION CLUB Safaga.
